Kampot PGI red pepper

Considered the king of peppers, Kampot red pepper is harvested at full maturity, when the berries have reached a vibrant red hue. This late harvest allows for the development of an exceptional aromatic palette: fruity, mild, and almost sweet notes, carried by a gradual, long, and well-balanced heat. After picking, the grains are sun-dried and precisely hand-sorted. This rare pepper, with its vibrant and generous character, received 2 stars at the Great Taste Awards in London in 2022, praised for its complexity and elegant power. It enhances game dishes, duck, shellfish, sweet and savory sauces, but also desserts made with chocolate, red fruits, or ice cream. A spectacular pepper, as delicate as it is intense.
